What exactly is a boudoir experience?

A boudoir experience is all about self-acceptance, self-love and celebrating yourself.
It is one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself.
Absolutely no experience is needed in posing, or wardrobe styling — I will walk you through everything.
We will discuss what your favourite features are, and if there is anything you feel insecure/self-conscious about.
I always use the most flattering camera angles, poses and lighting to accentuate your natural beauty.
If you want to feel more confident in your own skin, this is for you.
It’s more about the experience then the photos.. the photos serve as a lasting reminder of the empowering experience you had.

Who should do a boudoir session?

EVERY woman deserves this experience!

Do I have to wear lingerie? That’s just not me.

Absolutely not!
There are so many other options other than lingerie.
When you book, you’ll receive a wardrobe and preparation guide with lots of ideas.

Will my photos be on the internet?

Not unless you say it’s ok! Every woman featured online has given me written permission to post her images.
If you aren’t comfortable with any images being shared, that is completely fine, just let me know!

Is it normal to feel nervous?

Yes, many women feel a little nervous at first… it is completely normal!
But you’ll be surprised at how much you enjoy your session!
I promise that you’ll have a great time, and when you see your gorgeous images, it will totally be worth it!

I’m not a model. I wouldn’t know how to pose, and I don’t look like any of the women on your website.

None of my clients are models, and none of them have ever done this before.
I will show you exactly how to pose, where to look, and where to put your hands and feet.
I will even do the pose for you first so you know exactly what to do and you’ll never feel silly or self conscious.

I have cellulite/stretch marks/acne. Can you get rid of that?

Yes, most women do!
All your images will be professionally retouched.
To tell you the truth though, most poses wont even show it!
Let me know what you feel self-conscious about, and I’ll use only the most flattering poses, camera angles and lighting that
will emphasize your best features.
And please don’t use the “I need to lose weight” excuse!
The combination of flattering poses, the lighting, and the lenses I use will make you look at least 5-10 pounds lighter!

I’m older than (and not as thin as) the girls on your website. Can I still book a session?

Absolutely! I feel bad that people even ask this question!
I have photographed many women over 50 and well into the plus sizes.
Not everyone is comfortable with their photos being shown online though.
What I can promise is that I will create images to flatter YOU.
Every woman is beautiful, and it’s my job to show you just how gorgeous you really are.
I am a mom of 3 myself and I completely understand how it feels to be self conscious of certain areas.
Do not let any insecurities stop you from doing this. I will prove to you that you DO look amazing.
The flattering poses and camera angles will do much more for you than losing 5-10 pounds at the gym.
I promise, you will be shocked when you see how amazing you look!

Do I bring my own wardrobe, or do you provide the outfits?

You’ll bring your own lingerie/clothing with you.
If you’d rather not wear lingerie and would like to do a more modest session, that is totally fine as well!
You can bring 4-6 different things to wear, and I’ll help you choose the ones that will photograph the best.
We’ll typically shoot 3-4 different looks during your session.

What about hair and makeup?

Professional hair and makeup is part of the pampering process and is done right on site before your session.

What is included?

Included in your retainer fee, you will receive:

• Consultation to go over all details, and plan the style your shoot

• Wardrobe guide and preparation guide

• Professional hair and make up before your session

• Photo shoot in Naomi’s private studio

• Direction and step by step posing to make sure you get the best photos for your body type

• After your portrait session, your images will be professionally re-touched one by one

• Online ordering appointment to view and order your images
  

After your portrait session, your images will be professionally re-touched one by one.
2 weeks later, we’ll get together again virtually over the computer to view your images which is when you’ll choose all your favourites and make your purchasing decisions.
Print and album collections start at $990.
There is no obligation to purchase anything you don’t love.

What is your refund policy?

Due to the custom nature of photography, the retainer fee is non-refundable, and any products (once ordered) are non-refundable.
However, you will have the final say on your custom album design, and nothing will ever go to print without your approval.
Your happiness is very important to me and I will always make sure that you are 100% happy with all of your purchases!
